The Breadcrumb Navigation (also known as Breadcrumb Trail Links) in Zen Cart shows visitors where they are in your store and also provides quick links to return to the category or sub-category level.
In this example, we can see that the DVD we are viewing is in the Drama section of the DVD Movies category. The Breadcrumb Navigation gives us one-click access to either Home, DVD Movies or Drama.
From Zen Cart version 1.37, a setting in Admin allows you to include the Breadcrumb Navigation on all pages except the home page.
- Log in to your Zen Cart store Admin
- From the Configuration menu, select Layout Settings.
- Click on the (i) next to Define Breadcrumb Status and click the Edit button.
- Select Off for Home Page Only.
- Click Update.
