RSS is a format for delivering regularly changing web content. An RSS file contains details of the latest items available at a website so you can get the latest headlines and video in one place, as soon as its published, without having to visit the websites you have taken the feed from.

RSS solves a problem for people who regularly use the web. You can easily stay informed by retrieving the latest content from the sites you are interested in. However, to properly read the feed you will need an RSS reader.
A variety of RSS Readers are available for different platforms. Some popular feed readers include Amphetadesk (Windows, Linux, Mac), FeedReader (Windows), and NewsGator (Windows – integrates with Outlook).
