On first installing Zen Cart you will notice a, quite large, advertisement for a Zen cart owner’s manual.  This is actually an image that can be quickly removed with the Define Pages Editor.

To edit the index page:

1. Log in to your Zen Cart store Admin
2. From the Tools menu, select Define Pages Editor.
   
3. With the Text Editor set to HTMLarea, select define_main_page.php from the drop down menu (Define Pages Editor for: English).
   
4. In edit mode the “Have you got yours yet?” image is shown by it’s ALT text, as below:
   
   You will probably want to delete everything so that you can start fresh and input your store’s content.
5. Click Save when you have completed your changes.
