The Manufacturers Sidebox displays a drop-down menu of the manufacturers of your current products.  The drop-down menu is generated dynamically by additional database queries each time a store page is loaded that includes the Manufacturers Sidebox.  All stores have unique requirements and you may feel the Manufacturers Sidebox adds value for your customers.  If however, it is really just extra clutter on your store pages you will increase your page load speed by removing this sidebox.

To turn off the display of the Manufacturers Sidebox, follow the steps below.

1. Log in to your Zen Cart store Admin.
2. From the Tools menu, select Layout Box Controller.
   
3. Select the Edit icon for the Manufacturers Sidebox.
   
4. In the Edit Box section, select the settings as shown here and then click Update to save your settings.
