Set up Zen Cart to enforce acknowledgement of Terms and Conditions Statement on Checkout


Zen Cart can be set up to make agreement to your Terms and Conditions statement compulsory before customers can successfully complete the checkout process in your Zen Cart store.  The agreement is required in Step 2 – Payment Information.

Zen Cart - Confirm Terms and Conditions During Checkout Procedure

To turn on this feature:

  1. Log in to your Zen Cart store Admin.
  2. From the Configuration menu, select Regulations.
  3. Select Confirm Terms and Conditions During Checkout Procedure and click the Edit button.

  4. Select True to show the Terms and Conditions during the checkout procedure which the customer must agree to.  Click the Update button to save your setting.
