Disable Price Factor to increase Zen Cart performance


If you’re not using the price-by-attributes feature in Zen Cart, setting Enable Price Factor to False will stop unnecessary calculations and related queries and therefore speed up the rendering of your store’s product pages.

To disable price factor in Zen Cart:

  1. Log in to your Zen Cart store Admin
  2. From the Configuration menu, select Attribute Settings
    Zen Cart Admin > Configuration > Attribute Settings
  3. Select Enable Price Factor and then click the Edit button.

  4. Select False and then click the Update button.
