Disable Attribute Images to increase Zen Cart performance


If you’re not using the Attribute Images feature in Zen Cart, setting Enable Attribute Images to False will stop unnecessary calculations and related queries and therefore speed up the rendering of your store’s product pages.

To disable attribute images in Zen Cart:

  1. Log in to your Zen Cart store Admin
  2. From the Configuration menu, select Attribute Settings
    Zen Cart Admin > Configuration > Attribute Settings
  3. Select Enable Attribute Images and then click the Edit button.
    Zen Cart Admin > Configuration > Attribute Settings
  4. Select False and then click the Update button.
    Attribute Settings > Enable Attribute Images
