Disable Text Pricing by word or letter to increase Zen Cart performance


If you’re not using the Text Pricing by word or letter feature in Zen Cart, setting Enable Text Pricing by word or letter to False will stop unnecessary calculations and related queries and therefore speed up the rendering of your store’s product pages.

To disable text pricing by word or letter in Zen Cart:

  1. Log in to your Zen Cart store Admin
  2. From the Configuration menu, select Attribute Settings
    Zen Cart Admin > Configuration > Attribute Settings
  3. Select Enable Text Pricing by word or letter and then click the Edit button.
    Zen Cart Admin > Configration > Attribute Settings
  4. Select False and then click the Update button.
    Attribute Settings > Enable Text Pricing by word or letter
